When you want to understand the number of people likely to attend your venue or event from a particular area ? or if, for example, you are thinking of touring a show to a London venue new to you, or looking to open a new arts venue ? it is worth gaining a picture of what the ?propensity to engage with arts and culture? is for certain population groupings, down to postcode sector level. Then you can build a robust business plan and compare your performance with what might be expected.

Drawing together information from the Target Group Index (TGI) surveys and ACE's Arts Audiences: Insight segmentation, we can build a picture of a geographic area defined by you, to show you which areas contain people with the strongest propensity to get involved in the arts.

We overlay that with information on what that means in terms of numbers ? how many households are included in each area/sector.

Finally, our accompanying report draws on our experience to help you understand each population segments? characteristics ? and therefore how to build more fruitful relationships with them.

Key features:

  • A printed map showing an indication of arts engagement in your borough (or other defined area), with areas coloured in red, yellow and green to show showing high, mixed and low levels of engagement.
  • Where available, the map will be overlaid with arts facilities, local amenities and/or transport links.
  • A 1-page accompanying document explains how the engagement analysis was put together and highlights which ACE Arts Audiences: Insight segments and Mosaic types are prevalent for each engagement group.
  • A follow-up phone conversation to talk you through the implications and insights that the map can offer.

Cost: £770 + VAT
