Principles of… Developing projects with Housing Associations
Date: Thursday 19 November 2009
Time: 2.30 – 5.30pm
Venue: TBC
Price: £55 Subscribers | £75 Non-subscribers +VAT
This session offers the opportunity to hear case studies of existing work, to ask questions and discuss ideas with other participants and practitioners working in this field.
With one in ten Londoners living in a housing association property, Housing Associations are an often overlooked route to engaging with new contacts and potential new audiences.
By the end of the workshop you will be able to:
- explain how Housing Associations in London are structured and how they operate
- identify how your audience development objectives could best be met by working in partnership with Housing Associations
- discuss different models of best practice, referring to local, national and international examples of cultural projects with Housing Associations
This session is designed for organisations looking to work with housing or similar associations -either as an integral part of their community engagement work or as a starting point for engaging with their local population.
Facilitator: Helen Ball, Community Engagement Coordinator, Audiences London
